DDC Journal: Building Better Residential

Delco Development is using all it has learned through its work in the hospitality industry to pursue a challenging residential development in Southern New Jersey.

The vertically integrated company has years of experience developing, constructing and managing commercial and hospitality properties. It owns and operates more than 1 million square feet of retail, in addition to five hotels.

The firm is actively working to redevelop and reinvigorate an under utilized site in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey – a community located just across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. Haddon Point Apartments represents Delco’s first foray into the world of residential development. It is scheduled for delivery by late 2018.

“I always liked the apartment industry,” says Thomas Juliano, President of Delco Development. “Even though I’ve never developed an apartment project, I have always found that from a standpoint of sales and amenities it was somewhat similar to what we do with our hospitality properties.”
