MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. (WPVI) — If you think saving animals is something to sing about, here’s a chance to put your money where your mouth is — literally.
On Wednesday, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., a karaoke fundraiser to benefit the Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter will take place at Mount Laurel’s Aloft hotel, in the WXYZ Lounge.
Croon your favorite ballad or rock out, the choice is yours. There will be prizes, plus 10 percent of all food and beverage purchases will be donated to the FOBCAS, to help it in its mission of helping the animals be happy and healthy in the shelter, while helping them to move from the shelter into forever homes, foster homes and no-kill animal rescues.
The event is sponsored by the Mount Laurel Animal Hospital, and Aloft, which is at 558 Fellowship Road.
