On your way to or from Southern New Jersey’s magnificent shore points, you may see signs for Rio Grande.  Despite its proximity to Cape May, Avalon, Atlantic City, and the well known beach areas that enjoy heavy seasonal traffic, it’s a regular community with year-round residents and businesses.

In the early-2000s, the town of Rio Grande was losing momentum.  Delco saw an opportunity to acquire desirable property and transform the area into a rejuvenated, modern, thriving district.  The Rio Grande Shopping Center, a 500,000-square foot power center with 30 stores, opened in 2007.  Far more than just a collection of retail businesses, the project can be credited with revitalizing an entire area with convenient, marquee stores and restaurants, 800 year-round jobs, and a fresh, vibrant landmark.
