MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. December 2, 2016 —  Guests of the Aloft Mount Laurel have come to expect a certain level of sophistication when visiting the upscale hotel.

Impeccably deigned, the hotel features a modern aesthetic, a hip nighttime hotspot, and an eclectic and innovative food and drink menu.

But it seems that its newest guest, who has booked himself a permanent reservation, has requested a few changes to the hotel’s offerings.

Since Aloft Mount Laurel prides itself in providing world-class customer service, don’t be surprised if, on your next visit, you find Milk-Bones on the room service menu and a tennis ball under every pillow.

It’s all thanks to a little dog named Bailey, who, after a rough start in life, is now living the “suite” life. Although just 12 pounds, Bailey, a 2-year-old Shih Tzu mix, made a big impression on Aloft’s employees.

The pet-friendly hotel is no stranger to canine visitors and even hosts a monthly “Yappy Hour,” in which adoptable rescue dogs sip puptails and shake paws with the public. The event, which began last summer, is held in Aloft’s WXYZ bar and features dogs from One Love Animal Rescue. But after the most recent Yappy Hour, the hotel has truly gone to the dogs.
